About the Class
Sensory Art Lab is an experience designed for children and their caregivers to foster a creative bond. Each week introduces new textures, colors, tools, and materials for our young artists to delve into. A child-led, play-based, Reggio Emilia inspired art experience for ages 2-5 with a caregiver.
Highlights of Sensory Art Lab include:
- Enriching and self-paced art stations meant to ignite creativity and support experimentation
- A consistent, creative routine
- Ample tools, space, and encouragement
- Sensorimotor art experiences promoting schema play
- Classes max out at 12 kids, we aim to create a creative, calm as possible environment and also make space for the big sounds and feelings
- Play outside at Second Sky before and after class for free!
- A community of lovely caregivers and kids, we are in this together 🙂
Class schedule: we meet once a week.
Mondays: 9:45-10:45 with teacher Mia!
Wednesdays: 9:45-10:45 with teacher Sarah!
Price: $140 for 7-week semester, 40% off for siblings
